The Prophecy

The Prophecy: “It will all come about when history has been completed. God will then bring together all things in heaven and on earth under one ruler. The ruler is Christ.”                      Ephesians 1:10

The Timing and Seasons of God

“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.”                                                                    Corinthians 14:1

The Prophet, Isaiah, prophesied in his day 700 years before Christ: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.         Isaiah 9:6

“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.”                                            Matthew 24:34

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”                                                                                                 Isaiah 55: 8, 9

“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”                                                                                                                                                      2 Peter 3:8

So what is God saying to us through his Word?

“After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will restore us, that we may live in His presence.” Hosea 6:2 This means that God has a plan and a purpose in His will: a restoration and release of all things spoken of by the apostles and prophets: “for time is at hand” Revelation 22:10 “For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”                                                                     Romans 9:28

See, I am doing a new thing!

“Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 A new thing? Wow!  God is about to do things in and through His Church.

If we will hear God’s Word and believe in it, we can be God’s prophetic pioneers who will help God fulfill it. After all we are co-laborers with God. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. All who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure.”                                                                                                                                              1 John 3:1-3

So Christ suffered and died for our sins so that He might bring “many sons unto glory.” Hebrews 2:10 That means that God has predestined that there will be those who will think God’s thoughts, manifest His majesty, portray His power and glorify His grace without pain and confusion. This will come about like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.

Yet every restoration brings a revolution. New wine cannot be contained in old wineskins: it will burst forth. ”They pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”                  Matthew 9:17

How will this begin?

A whole company of prophets will come forth like a voice of one calling “In the wilderness (to) prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level,
the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”                                                                                Isaiah 40:3-5

The fact that prophecy is a rare phenomena, which is outside our common experience, does not mean that it is incredible or unreal.  Theologians cannot rule out the witnesses of saints. It would be similar to physical scientist refusing to study the facts of nature, and content with textbooks and abstract arguments.  In fact, life of the saints is not a study of highly gifted individuals. It is the perfect manifestation of a supernatural life, which exists in every Christian.

You may remember the Charismatic Movement that swept the Church world in 1963. There was also a Prophetic Movement that brought the revelation of how to activate believers in the 1990’s into the spiritual gifts of prophecy, word of knowledge and wisdom. Now we see that there is still another movement or a tidal wave of awakening, restoration and reformation unlike any time before which seem to have been started in 2008. This will be done to cleanse the heavens and earth of all wickedness and evil spirits. This is not unlike the time when Moses was uses to bring God’s people out of their bondage in Egypt.  Messages from many prophets indicate that the year 2012 and 2015 are time markers in this new movement.

Today Christians attempt to unite in ecumenical meetings, which really have not accomplished very much. These Christians exchange ideas after tea and biscuits and then part only to come away more convinced of their own particular beliefs.

In the new Revival, (the Prophetic Fulfillment), Christians will come to unity by faith through the Holy Spirit, and they will become one as Jesus and the Father are one. Then the greatest harvest ever recorded in Church history will happen when this unity will take place.  This will happen through a special chosen group of redeemed people, who are in relationship with Him.

There are over 30 scriptures that speak about restoration and a “growing up”. The most descriptive is: “Heaven must receive Him (Jesus) until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.”  We must grow in grace and knowledge until we”grow up into Christ in all things” Ephesians 4:15 “until we are conformed to His image” Romans 8:29 “a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle”Ephesians 5:27unto a perfect man even to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ Himself.”                                                                                 Ephesians 4:13

Jesus will join us to win these battles: “your God Himself fights for you”. Deuteronomy 3:22 God is about to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves: something new. “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43 19 “The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.  So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you.                                                                                                                                      Deuteronomy 28:9-10

God cleanses the old earth and transforms it into a new earth because God is making all things new: we will receive from God greater power, anointing, grace, wisdom and faith than we have ever had before.

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”                                                    Revelation 21:1-8

Paul knew that the people of Corinthians had to be filled with the Holy Spirit, but he knew that this did not guarantee them entrance into the Kingdom of God. “Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Jesus will manifest supernatural power and miracles until the heads of nations have to acknowledge that there is no true God but Jesus Christ, in the same way as Pharaoh did when Moses manifested the mighty miracles of God against Egypt: “His dominion is an eternal dominion; His kingdom endures from generation to generation.”                                                                                                                                     Daniels 4:34

To His apostles and prophets,“He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.” Luke 8:10 This means God has selected and ordained apostles and prophets to help bring about the transformation of this world.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5  ”See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”                                                                                                            Jeremiah 1:10

Becoming worse before becoming Better

There is a principle revealed in the Bible and in nature that it becomes worse before it becomes better. Just think of a mother’s labour pain before the baby is born. In the same way, the world’s cup of iniquity is getting closer to the full status. This must come to fullness before the Church can come to full restoration and God can execute His judgments upon the world.

“Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand— a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness.” Joel 2:1-2 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”                                                                                                                                           Isaiah 60:1-3

This is a perfect condensed explanation of the prophetic: “He (Jesus) must remain in heaven until the time when God makes everything new. He promised this long ago through his holy prophets.  Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me. He will be one of your own people. You must listen to everything he tells you. Those who do not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’ Samuel and all the prophets after him spoke about this. They said these days would come. What the prophets said was meant for you. The covenant God made with your people long ago is yours also.”                                                                                                Acts 3:21-25

Amazing Gift from God

NEW EARTHThunder of Justice

Everyone has an Amazing Gift from God

There are going to be some sheepish souls in heaven when they find out what gifts of God that were handed out to us during our stay on earth. The Amazing Gift of God is known as the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and there are seven in number.

A recovering alcoholic discovered his gift quite by “accident”. His teenage daughter was suffering a severe virus attack with an extremely high fever. After prayer over her in the wee hours of the night she got up the next morning surprised to find that she was feeling normal enough to return to school that morning. Since then this man has spent many evenings in a church basement praying over people for their cure. He knows the “accident” was nothing more than an answer to his own prayers and trust in God.

We don’t have to be down on your last dollar to discover God. Although it seems that this is the only time when we have the courage to give the Holy Spirit the permission to come into our lives and help us to follow God’s will. Remember the Our Father Prayer “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” That comes right out of the Bible when Jesus was asked how does one pray.

  • Christians don’t shout, “I am clean living!” They whisper “I was lost, but now I’m found and forgiven.”
  • Christians don’t speak of this with pride. They confess that they stumble and need Christ to be their guide.
  • Christians don’t say,” I’m strong.” They say they are trying to be strong because they are really weak and need strength.
  • Christians don’t brag of success, but they admit that they are failing and they need God to clean up the mess.
  • Christians don’t claim to be perfect. Their flaws are far too visible but God believes they are worth it.
  • Christians still feel the sting of pain and they have their share of headaches but they call upon His Name.
  • Christians are not holier than thou. They are also simple sinners who receive God’s Unbelievable Grace.
jesus god

 Christianity on a Table Napkin:

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

The real Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He was send by God to come to the earth in the body of a human being. That was so that He could suffer in the flesh, take all our sins upon Himself and die in our place. He rose from the dead and lives to pray for us daily.
He is the Saviour – The angel announced to Mary; …and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21    It means He has the power to free us, save us and deliver us from sin. He is merciful and has the power to forgive. He brings good news to the poor, heals the heartbroken, announce freedom to all captives, pardons all prisoners. He comforts mourners. He has healing in His wings.
If you are not yet received Jesus as your Saviour… SAY: Lord Jesus, You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Please hear me today and help me! I want to receive you as my Lord and Saviour. Be Lord of my life!  Lord Jesus, I believe that You died for me and that God raised You from the dead. Forgive me all my sins and take all my sins away. Come into my heart and be my Saviour and Lord, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Amen

God the Father will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain. We will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is The Holy Spirit will have made all things new. Eternal joy will have begun.  “For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is His name.”                                       Luke 1: 49

Are we not like Barabbas justly condemned for murder, but saved by the innocent Jesus on the cross? Are we not like the adulterous woman, deserving of death by stoning, to whom Jesus says, “I do not condemn you”?  And Jesus saved them both. In fact, Jesus came to earth specifically to look for and save those who were lost.

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD.

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;

though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.    Isaiah 1:18

Coming Glory

The Coming Glory

In 1994, God poured out His power on what was then the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. As the years passed, there was a disinterest in all of this — too messy! Too out of control! To make things worse, our cultural agreement concerning right and wrong, sin and morality has been lost. It seems that the world is growing darker. But this may be the very time when the Holy Spirit will turn things around and start to burn brighter in our Churches for the Coming Glory.

We in North America have yet to experience the true baptism in the Spirit, because we tend to be too laid-back, as our culture teeters on the edge of collapse.  Christians, when they become rich, increase their goods and are in need of nothing. They forsake God and become self-centered.  The really love God, but they love their pleasures even more.  Many have fallen away from church involvement — still believers, but only going through the motions; they don’t know what else to do.

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, … lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.”                                                                                              2 Timothy 3: 1, 2, 4

Even the most doubtful people on earth must, in their honest moments, admit that something apocalyptic “shaking” is about to take place in the world. “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of My mouth”.                                                                    Revelation 3: 15-16

At least that seems the common opinion among many modern day prophets. “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.”                    Amos 3:7

“... as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.  But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:12-13 So those who are prepared, should be accepting of the coming event. “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”                                           James 1:12

The Prophetic Coming Glory

God’s call to Jeremiah exemplifies the call to a prophet: “Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, ‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.‘”       Jeremiah 1:9

God has endowed more people now with the gift of prophecy. A prophet may have this spiritual gift, but this doesn’t mean the prophet is in a position of a governing authority; they mistake the gift for authority. So their self-exaltation may pervert or misuse the gift.  Also, many Christians have no idea how to receive a prophet; they don’t know the role and function of prophecy in their church.  If a church does not utilize prophecy, they suffer loses: “Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward.”                                                                                                                         Matthew 10:41

One recent prophecy is ,’The magnitude of My revealed glory in the coming days shall be seven times greater than what the people experienced in the Book of Acts’.  This is also in reference to “The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds He inflicted.”                                                                                                                                              Isaiah 30:26

Who Will be the Prophetic?                                                                                          “They continually devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.”                                                            Acts 2:42-43

So how can all this begin to happen?  The words, “continually devoted” says it all: hearing and absorbing what God is saying, which requires a strong personal relationship.

Fellowship speaks about spending time together with other believers, whom can be called anointed clusters: the depth and power of the love and fellowship in oneness. ” And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:24-25 “If anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8

Breaking of bread refers to the Holy Eucharist or Communion, the receiving of Jesus into one’s heart. Finally prayer to be done in the cluster or by personal devotions.

Notice that the early Christians kept feeling a sense of “awe at the many wonders and signs. This is more than human love; there is a supernatural quality to it.

The fear of the Lord is a much misunderstood concept. It does not involve abject terror or dread of divine justice. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word used for this fear is yirah, which denotes piety and reverence.

Some Christians will attend church, listen to God’s Word and talk about God’s Word and even boast about the saving grace of our Lord, but they reject the power that could truly make them holy. They emphasize the goodness of God at the expense of the fear of God.

God’s wonderful love and goodness should inspire awe and worship in our hearts.  Yet “in Him we live and move and have our being” Acts 17:28  God’s Majesty does not keep us from Him because He willingly humbles Himself to fellowship with us                                                                                                                                                       Psalm 113:4-9; 138:6

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.”                                                                                                           Isaiah 6:3

“For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 We need obedience toward the heart of our Master. We must lay all else aside, including hidden agendas or motives, otherwise the outcome is shallow and non-productive.

One well known prophet received a vision: the hand of God was placed on a great power switch, ready to pull it up to loose the waters of revival that will flood the world. The water is being released and will, in its fullness, result in the greatest harvest the earth has ever known It will be glorious!   “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.”                                                                                                    Habakkuk 2:14

“The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.” Haggai 2:9  Jesus saved the best wine for the last at the wedding of Canaan, so it will be at the time of restoration of all things.
