The Coming Glory
In 1994, God poured out His power on what was then the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. As the years passed, there was a disinterest in all of this — too messy! Too out of control! To make things worse, our cultural agreement concerning right and wrong, sin and morality has been lost. It seems that the world is growing darker. But this may be the very time when the Holy Spirit will turn things around and start to burn brighter in our Churches for the Coming Glory.
We in North America have yet to experience the true baptism in the Spirit, because we tend to be too laid-back, as our culture teeters on the edge of collapse. Christians, when they become rich, increase their goods and are in need of nothing. They forsake God and become self-centered. The really love God, but they love their pleasures even more. Many have fallen away from church involvement — still believers, but only going through the motions; they don’t know what else to do.
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, … lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.” 2 Timothy 3: 1, 2, 4
Even the most doubtful people on earth must, in their honest moments, admit that something apocalyptic “shaking” is about to take place in the world. “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of My mouth”. Revelation 3: 15-16
At least that seems the common opinion among many modern day prophets. “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7
“... as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:12-13 So those who are prepared, should be accepting of the coming event. “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:12
The Prophetic Coming Glory
God’s call to Jeremiah exemplifies the call to a prophet: “Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, ‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.‘” Jeremiah 1:9
God has endowed more people now with the gift of prophecy. A prophet may have this spiritual gift, but this doesn’t mean the prophet is in a position of a governing authority; they mistake the gift for authority. So their self-exaltation may pervert or misuse the gift. Also, many Christians have no idea how to receive a prophet; they don’t know the role and function of prophecy in their church. If a church does not utilize prophecy, they suffer loses: “Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward.” Matthew 10:41
One recent prophecy is ,’The magnitude of My revealed glory in the coming days shall be seven times greater than what the people experienced in the Book of Acts’. This is also in reference to “The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds He inflicted.” Isaiah 30:26
Who Will be the Prophetic? “They continually devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.” Acts 2:42-43
So how can all this begin to happen? The words, “continually devoted” says it all: hearing and absorbing what God is saying, which requires a strong personal relationship.
Fellowship speaks about spending time together with other believers, whom can be called anointed clusters: the depth and power of the love and fellowship in oneness. ” And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:24-25 “If anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
Breaking of bread refers to the Holy Eucharist or Communion, the receiving of Jesus into one’s heart. Finally prayer to be done in the cluster or by personal devotions.
Notice that the early Christians kept feeling a sense of “awe at the many wonders and signs. This is more than human love; there is a supernatural quality to it.
The fear of the Lord is a much misunderstood concept. It does not involve abject terror or dread of divine justice. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word used for this fear is yirah, which denotes piety and reverence.
Some Christians will attend church, listen to God’s Word and talk about God’s Word and even boast about the saving grace of our Lord, but they reject the power that could truly make them holy. They emphasize the goodness of God at the expense of the fear of God.
God’s wonderful love and goodness should inspire awe and worship in our hearts. Yet “in Him we live and move and have our being” Acts 17:28 God’s Majesty does not keep us from Him because He willingly humbles Himself to fellowship with us Psalm 113:4-9; 138:6
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.” Isaiah 6:3
“For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 We need obedience toward the heart of our Master. We must lay all else aside, including hidden agendas or motives, otherwise the outcome is shallow and non-productive.
One well known prophet received a vision: the hand of God was placed on a great power switch, ready to pull it up to loose the waters of revival that will flood the world. The water is being released and will, in its fullness, result in the greatest harvest the earth has ever known It will be glorious! “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14
“The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.” Haggai 2:9 Jesus saved the best wine for the last at the wedding of Canaan, so it will be at the time of restoration of all things.
God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions show a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17 (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.
The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.
Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today in China.
In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family. The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the Chinese family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ. No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.
BILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS CAN’ T ALL BE WRONG!
Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is a relationship with God, your Creator, in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles. How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Many Christian disciples use the gift of healing. They also use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress. Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.
HOW IS JESUS STILL ALIVE TODAY?
Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.
Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.
This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.
He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical sense of peace.
DREAMS AND VISIONS
God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart. God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.
